The world of photography has changed dramatically over the last decade, the digital revolution has transformed the way we take photos and think about photography.  We now talk in terms of megapixels and write speeds, and somewhere along the line "photoshopping" became a verb.  While we are firm believers in getting it right in the camera, the modern digital darkroom is a powerful tool to make your photos look their best, or to rescue ones that are close to great, but would have otherwise been destined for the recycle bin.

Our digital darkroom class reveals our process for getting the best results for all the great pictures you take, using Photoshop and Lightroom. You will receive a thorough crash course in using Lightroom as a fundamental workflow to organize and develop your images, as well as more advanced technique's using Lightroom and Photoshop together to assemble HDR's and stitch together panoramic photos. We will explore Lightroom's Develop features in depth, how they differ from Photoshop, and when to use one program over the other.

This class will provide you with a complete digital workflow from organization to preparing files for print, stock, or the web.  We'll unveil tips and techniques to make your workflow smooth and easy, and to get you away from the computer and back out in the field!
